There is more to being 'southern' than
talking slow, dipping snuff, and eating grits. The South has
a centuries-old culture that's as distinctive as are our beautiful
rivers, mountains, and forests, not to mention those long, hot July
and August days. What a difference: BEING FROM THE SOUTH

Some folks find more excitement in coon
hunting, or deer hunting, than politics. Football, hunting, fishing,
and most all outdoor activities fascinate most Southerners but best
of all is that good ole country cooking and --after that-- some
good conversation on the front porch while darkness sets in for
the night, invading the tree-tops, and then the younguns go chasing
lightnin' bugs in the yard.
